ERIE, Pa. – The No. 9 Gannon Acrobatics & Tumbling team collected its second ranked victory of the season Tuesday night, defeating No. 12 Glenville State at the Highmark Events Center.
Gannon set the tone early by taking the lead following the Compulsory event and never relinquished the advantage the rest of the night.
Glenville State entered the ranked matchup undefeated at 5-0 on the season and sat first in the Mountain East Conference while holding the No. 12 spot in the NCATA rankings.
The Golden Knights continued their strong performances at home, improving to 4-0 inside the Highmark Events Center this season.
The win also marked the second time this season Gannon has defeated a ranked opponent, further strengthening the Golden Knights' résumé as the season progresses.
