LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Gannon women's sophomore middle blocker Carlee Webber (Anamosa, IA/Marion) has earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Defensive Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season, the conference announced Monday.

The honor marks the fifth PSAC West weekly award for the Golden Knights this season and the second for Webber, who previously earned the recognition on September 8.

Webber helped lead Gannon to a 2-0 weekend, including a thrilling five-set victory over Clarion on Friday night and a three-set sweep of Slippery Rock on Saturday.

Webber highlighted her weekend with a dominant performance at the net in Friday's five-set thriller against Clarion, recording a career-high nine blocks, including six solo stops, while adding eight kills. Her effort helped Gannon rally from a 2-1 deficit to defeat the Golden Eagles, 3-2, and finish with a 12-7 advantage in team blocks.

Across eight sets, Webber totaled 10 blocks (1.25 per set), including six solo blocks and four block assists. She also contributed offensively with 16 kills while hitting .341 with just two attack errors on 41 attempts.

Webber finished the weekend with 24 points as Gannon held its opponents to a combined .129 hitting percentage and outblocked them 18-9.

Gannon wraps up the regular season this weekend with a pair of PSAC West road matches. The Golden Knights travel to Pitt-Johnstown on Friday, November 6, before facing IUP on Saturday, November 7. Both matches are scheduled for 6 p.m.
