ALBANY, NY - The 16th ranked Golden Knights took to the road on Saturday to compete in the Journeyman Women's Duals in Albany, NY. Gannon was one of just three teams competing in the event, as inclement weather conditions across the rest of the Midwest saw several teams not make the trip for the one day event. 

Gannon started the day off against Elmira College, falling 32-15 to the Soaring Eagles in the morning session. 

In the afternoon, GU faced Sacred Heart for the third time on the season and second in as many tournaments, falling short by a 39-9 final. The loss dropped the Golden Knights to 7-9 on the season. 

Gannon will return home this Saturday, January 31st when they face Lock Haven in a dual meet. The match will start at 2:00 pm inside the Highmark Events Center.
