Four Golden Knights Named to CSC Academic All-District Baseball Team

ERIE, Pa. -- Four members of the Gannon University baseball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Baseball Team on Tuesday.

Wes Parker (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township), Jake Boynar (North Ridgeville, Ohio/North Ridgeville), Frank Kula (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) and Drew Stangelo (Uniontown, Ohio/North Canton Hoover) are Gannon's 2025 CSC Academic All-District® honorees. All are first-time CSC Academic All-District® Team honorees.

Parker is a junior who joined Gannon this year after playing two seasons at Toledo. The first baseman is a Marketing major with a 3.83 GPA.

Kula is another transfer in his first season with the Golden Knights. On the diamond the sophomore plays second base. In the classroom he maintains a 3.66 GPA as a Mechanical Engineering major.

Stangelo and Boynar are also sophomores. Stangelo, a catcher, has a 3.82 GPA and is a Nursing major. Boynar emerged as Gannon's top starting pitcher and has a 3.80 GPA as a Mechanical Engineering major in the classroom.
