Five Members of Gannon Softball Team Named to 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Team

ERIE, Pa. -- Five members of the Gannon University softball team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team on Tuesday.

Katie Armstrong (Lower Burrell, Pa./Burrell), Jenna Clontz (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong), Abbie Girman, Maggie Lenda (East Aurora, N.Y./Iroquois), and Natalia Mallozzi (Woodbridge, Ontario/Father Bressani Catholic) are Gannon's 2025 CSC Academic All-District® honorees.

Mallozzi becomes a three-time CSC Academic All-District® Team honoree who a year ago went on to earn third team CSC Academic All-America® honors. The first baseman is a graduate student who earned her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Exercise Science and is working on a Master's Degree in Business Analytics. She had a 3.99 GPA as an undergraduate student and maintains a 4.00 GPA as a graduate student.

Girman is a senior who is now a two-time CSC Academic All-District® Team selection. The outfielder is a Health Sciences – Physical Therapy major with a 3.86 GPA.

Armstrong and Lenda are Gannon's top two pitchers. Lenda, a senior, is a Chemistry major with a 3.80 GPA. This is her second consecutive year as a CSC Academic All-District® Team member. Armstrong is a sophomore who carries a 3.97 GPA as an Early Childhood/Special Education major.

Like Armstrong, Clontz was named to the CSC Academic All-District® Team for the first time. The sophomore outfielder is a Social Studies/Secondary Education major with a 3.81 GPA.
