GANNON GOLDEN KNIGHTS at ROAD TO DAYTONA SHOWCASE

The Gannon University Competitive Cheer and Dance teams are set to host the Road to Daytona Showcase on Saturday, March 29, at the Highmark Events Center. The event provides a platform for teams to perform their routines ahead of the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championships, taking place in Daytona Beach, Florida, from April 10–12.

In addition to serving as a lead-up to nationals, the showcase will also celebrate Senior Day, honoring the dedication and hard work of Gannon's graduating student-athletes. This year, the program will recognize seniors Caleb Adamowicz (Magnolia, Del./Caesar Rodney), Mikyla Ball (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora High School), Caesar Grandinetti (Erie, Pa./Harbor Creek), Emily Hale (Ashtabula, Ohio/Lakeside), Andrew Lupejkis (Cheektowaga, n.y./Cheektowaga Central High School), Jacob Skolnik (Erie, Pa./McDowell High School), and Jillian Sullivan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler Area) for their significant contributions both on and off the mat.

Senior celebrations will begin at 3:30 p.m., prior to the competition.

This showcase also marks the first time since the 2023 season that the Golden Knights will perform inside the newly renovated Highmark Events Center, adding an extra layer of excitement to the occasion.

The 2025 showcase will carry a Make-A-Wish theme, adding a meaningful touch to the day. Fans can support the cause by donating to Make-A-Wish at the following link above to help a child's wish come true.

The showcase will feature performances from teams representing Point Park, Ohio State, RIT, Penn State Behrend, Edinboro, Thiel, Westminster, and Gannon.
