The Gannon University competitive cheer and dance team competed in the New England Open Cheer and Dance Championship on Saturday at East Haven High School in Connecticut. It was the team's first time competing in this event, and the Golden Knights performed exceptionally well, securing first-place finishes in all three categories.
Teams in Review:
Game Day Cheer: The team competed uncontested and scored 85.45 out of a possible 100 points.
Team Performance Dance: The team won the event with a score of 74 out of 80 points.
Hip Hop Dance: The team won the event with a score of 63.5 out of 70 points.
