No. 7 Women's Soccer Falls 1–0 at IUP in PSAC West Showdown

The No. 7 Gannon women's soccer team dropped a tight 1–0 decision on the road at Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday afternoon in a matchup between two of the PSAC West's top contenders.

The two programs previously met on October 4 in Erie, battling to a 1–1 draw in a tightly contested match, and Saturday proved just as close.

The rematch remained scoreless into the 69th minute before the Crimson Hawks converted on a cross in front of the goal for the lone tally.

The setback marks Gannon's first PSAC West regular season loss since October 21, 2023 against No. 18 Mercyhurst, ending a stretch in which the Golden Knights went 22–0–6 in conference play across the last two seasons.

The result was also IUP's first victory over Gannon since 2019.
