Prior to kickoff on Wednesday afternoon, Gannon and Edinboro women's soccer programs came together at midfield for a Stand Up to Cancer moment of recognition, with student-athletes and coaches from both sides honoring loved ones and individuals they are supporting in the fight against cancer.

 The moment set the tone for a meaningful PSAC West matchup at McConnell Family Stadium.

On the field, Gannon broke through after halftime, scoring all three goals in the second half to secure a 3–0 win and improve to 14-1-1 and 10-1-1 in PSAC West play. Olivia Dixon (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) scored twice (68', 73') and Ella Fadale (Brockport, N.Y./Brockport) added the third (80'), while Gannon held a 23–4 shot advantage and a 14–1 edge in corners. Morgan Sinan (Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley) posted the shutout.

With the regular season winding down, the PSAC postseason race remains tight. In the PSAC East, West Chester, Kutztown, Millersville, Shepherd, and Bloomsburg have clinched berths.
