Gannon women's golf junior Cloe Mateo (Sabadell, Spain/Montcau la Mola) has been named the PSAC Women's Golfer of the Week after leading the Golden Knights to a dominant team victory at the Michael Corbett Fall Classic, the final event of their fall season.

Mateo earned medalist honors after rallying from four strokes back on day one to win by a single shot. She posted rounds of 75 and 73 for a two-day total of 148 (+4), highlighted by three birdies and a 1-under 35 on her back nine (the front) during Monday's final round.

Behind Mateo's strong finish, the Golden Knights topped the 10-team field by 27 strokes, wrapping up their fall season in commanding fashion with a victory on their home course.
