ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon women's lacrosse team scored seven second-half goals but could not overcome an early deficit in a 17-8 loss to Lock Haven on Saturday at McConnell Family Stadium.

The Golden Knights moved to 4-10 overall and 2-7 in the PSAC West, while Lock Haven improved to 12-2 and 7-2.

- Caroline Stevens (Syracuse, N.Y./Liverpool) had a hat trick and an assist to lead Gannon. She now has a team-high 35 goals and ranks second on the team with 42 points.
- Stevens also led Gannon with six draw controls.
- Skyler Parsons (Reading, Pa./Exeter Twp.) scored twice for Gannon, while Alyssa Lerch (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area), Madyson Schwartz (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter), and Macy Hepditch (Waterloo, Ontario/Resurrection Catholic) scored one goal apiece. Schwartz ranks second on the team with 25 goals this season.
- Lock Haven led 3-1 after the first quarter before going on a 7-0 run in the second period to take a 10-1 lead into halftime.
- Gannon scored three goals in the third quarter and four more in the fourth as the Golden Knights and Bald Eagles each scored seven times in the second half.
- Lock Haven's Gabby Gunnip led all scorers with four goals.
