The Gannon University women's lacrosse program continued its PSAC West slate battling Seton Hill at Dick's Sporting Goods Field Wednesday afternoon.
Gannon dropped the road contest 18-4 and will look to bounce back when they host Lock Haven on April 20 at McConnell Family Stadium.

How it Happened
- The opening quarter saw only one goal scored between both teams in a back-and-forth defensive battle with the Griffins walking away with a 1-0 lead heading into the second quarter.
- The Golden Knights caused six Seton Hills turnovers, while the Griffins forced eight.
- Riley Finnegan (Oviedo, Fla./Oviedo) notched five saves off the Griffins seven shot attempts to keep the contest close.
- Seton Hill opened the quarter with a goal at the 13:58 mark to take the 2-0 lead.
- The Golden Knights answered back with a goal of their own at 9:36 from Skyler Parsons (Reading, Pa./Exeter Twp.) to cut the Griffin lead, 2-1.
- Seton Hill used a three-goal surge to pull ahead 5-1 with 4:45 remaining till the half.
- McKenna Woodworth (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) netted Gannon's final goal of the half at the 3:31 mark.
- The Griffins struck their final goal of the half at the four second mark to take a 6-2 lead heading into the break.
- Seton Hill used a 7-1 third quarter to widen its lead 13-3 heading into the final period.
- Madyson Schwartz (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter) scored the Knights' lone goal in the third quarter at the 7:46 mark.
- The Golden Knights would get its final goal of the contest from Woodworth who was assisted by Alyssa Lerch (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area), but Seton Hill would add five more goals to secure the home win.

- The Golden Knights finished with four goals on 18 shots, scooped up 12 ground balls, and had eight caused turnovers.
- In goal, Riley Finnegan (Oviedo, Fla./Oviedo) had 10 saves, just one shy of her season-high 11.
- McKenna Woodworth (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) led the Gannon offense with two goals.
- Madyson Schwartz (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter) and Skyler Parsons (Reading, Pa./Exeter Twp.) each added one goal apiece.
- Megan Lang (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) dished out one assist.
- Angie George (Brecksville, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) had two caused turnovers while Macy Hepditch (Waterloo, Ontario/Resurrection Catholic) and Megan Lang (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) scooped up three ground balls apiece.
- Grace Agnello and Piper Conlan led Seton Hill with four goals apiece.
