ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon Competitive Cheer and Dance Program heads to the campus of Elmira College in New York to participate in the Upstate Collegiate Competition. All four disciplines will compete on Sunday, March 6, beginning with the Gannon Co-Ed roster at 12:05 p.m. The All-Girl performance will follow at 12:10 p.m., with the Hip-Hop performance kicking off at 1:00 p.m. and concluding with the Team performance at 1:45 p.m.
 
The Golden Knights competed at the Upstate Collegiate Competition in both 2019 and 2020. In 2019, the All-Girl team scored the second-highest score of any division, scoring 78.93 out of 90, just behind Elmira's 84.35. The All-Girl, Game Day, and Co-Ed teams all finished with top-six scores.
 
In 2020, the Co-Ed team topped its division while the other teams were uncontested in those respective divisions.
 
Following Sunday's competition, the Knights will have six days to prepare for the Keuka Cheer Classic on Saturday, March 12 in Keuka Park, N.Y.
