The Gannon women's volleyball team will look to maintain its playoff positioning this weekend when it hosts one match and goes on the road for another.
Coach
Matt Darling's Golden Knights (13-5 overall) are in second place in the PSAC West with a 7-1 record. (Clarion is first at 9-0.) The top four teams in the division advances to the playoffs. The Knights will host fourth-place California University of Pennsylvania and visit ninth-place University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown on Saturday. Gannon swept both teams in their first matchups this season.
Cal U enters Friday's 7 p.m. match at 10-8 overall and 4-5 PSAC West mark. Pitt-Johnstown enters the weekend at 7-15 and 1-8 in the PSAC West as UPJ prepares to host Gannon at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Gannon has been hot since starting the season 4-3. The Golden Knights have gone 9-2 since that point, including winning 7-of-8 in the conference. They bounced back from their first conference loss to Clarion on Friday and swept IUP on Saturday.
