HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Kieran Gagnon (Mono, Ontario/Westside) answered for Gannon in the third stanza singling through the left side to score Trey Zeroski (Clinton, Pa./West Allegheny) and Jared Bielanin (Erie, Pa./McDowell) to make the score 9-2. After Seton Hill tacked on a run in the fourth and fifth innings, Tyler Mattocks (Titusville, Pa./Maplewood) tried to provide a spark for the Knights sending a two RBI double deep to right center to cut the deficit to 11-4. However, Gannon couldn't get anything going from there and went on to drop the contest, 12-4.

  • Gagnon and Mattocks each contributed two RBI and one hit.
