GAME NOTES
- Gannon will finish the regular season 6-0 for the first undefeated regular season in program history. The Knights join No. 1 Azusa Pacific, No. 6 King and No. 8 Fairmont State as the only undefeated teams in the country.
- The Golden Knights swept all six events for the fourth time in five tries this season. The Knights also won 16 of 19 heats, and have won 85 of 95 heats on the season.
- Saturday was the first tri-meet for Gannon since a 2018 meeting with Oregon and Quinnipiac.
- Their 9.95 in the compulsory toss is a season high, tied for the second-best score in program history, and their second near-perfect score of the season.
- The Golden Knights' 9.70 in the six-element acro is the second highest of the season, and the best since a 9.85 in the season opener against Frostburg State.
- The 450 salto toss score of 9.70 is a new season high by 0.45 points, and is tied for third in program history.
- The inversion pyramid score of 9.85 is a season high by 0.20, and the quad tumbling pass of 8.350 is the top mark of the season 0.40.
UP NEXT
- Gannon has concluded its 2021 regular season, and will await the selections for a reduced 2021 NCATA National Championship field.
- Only the top four teams will be invited this season, with those selections announced this Monday.
