  • Lyndsey Lakatos (Allison Park, Pa./Shaler Area) answered for the Knights in the fourth frame blasting a single down the left field line to score Jules Ryan (Collegeville, Pa./Spring Ford) and cut the deficit to 3-1.
  • The Knights then attempted to rally late as Kristina DeMatteis (Boyers, Pa./Moniteau) connected on her second home run of the season over the left field fence to make the score 3-2. However, Gannon wasn't able to get anyone else in scoring position and went on drop the contest, 3-2.
