ERIE, Pa. — After seeing its promising start to 2020 cut short, the Gannon women's lacrosse team is set for a full slate of action in 2021.
The Golden Knights will kick off their schedule with a single nonconference game next weekend before opening up PSAC play throughout March and April.
2021 LACROSSE SCHEDULE
Gannon heads to Roberts Wesleyan on March 6 for its first action in nearly a year, then makes a quick return home to start PSAC West play at McConnell Family Stadium against Mercyhurst. After a road trip to Lock Haven, the Knights are back home for a string of three straight games over eight days.
April kicks off the second half of conference play, and Gannon will leave Erie County only once in the month prior to its regular season finale at Seton Hill April 24.
Postseason action gets underway in May with the PSAC tournament. The NCAA tournament saw some adjustments for this year only, with each region earning three bids instead of four.
Currently, no spectators are allowed in attendance at sporting events hosted on the Gannon campus due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Access to the facility is limited to participating teams and those workers whose duties are essential to the contest.
