GAMEDAY MEDIA CENTER HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After Clarion started the game off with a quick 2-0 lead, the Golden Knights bounced back with a 5-2 edge after Chris Clancy (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's Boys) found Braden Olsen (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) for three. Emanuel Henriques (Baltimore, Md./Benjamin Franklin) netted a three pointer to help the Knights regain the edge, 15-12. Gannon continued to increase their advantage to six, 19-13, with Ogbuagu draining a three-pointer of his own. Following a Clarion layup from Steve Kelly, the game was locked back up at 29-29. Clarion closed the half getting a layup to fall as time expired and led at the intermission, 33-32.
