The Short Story: Sergio Castillo (Madrid, Spain) scored the game winning goal for the Golden Knights in the 103rd minute. Gannon took down Urbana 1-0 to pick up their second win of the season. Chandler Hallwood (Halifax, England/Woodhouse Grove) recorded five saves in the net to earn his first career shutout.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Castillo scored in the 103rd minute on an assist from Joe Knox (Gold Coast, Australia/The Southport School). This was Castillo's first career goal and Knox's first assist of the season.
  • The Knights locked down on defense in the first half only allowing Urbana two shots.
  • By the end of the second half Gannon held advantage with 15 shots to 11.
  • Urbana would only get off one shot in overtime, while the Knights took three leading to a 1-0 win.
