The Short Story: The Golden Knights remain perfect this season with a 5-0 record after defeating Millersville Wednesday night.
Toby Gower (Norwich, England/Long Stratton) knotted the game 1-1 late in the first half. Gannon would win the game with a team goal following an own goal by Millersville's own player.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams made for a competitive first half holding each other scoreless until late.
- Millersville would strike first with a goal in the 30th minute. Jake Gosselin found the back of the net on a low goal past Gannon goalkeeper Chandler Hallwood (Halifax, England/Woodhouse Grove).
- Toby Gower (Norwich, England/Long Stratton) tied the match in the 36th minute on an assist from Anthony Marafioti (Melbourne, Australia/Penleigh & Essendon).
- The Knights edged Marauders 7-6 in shots and 4-2 in shots on goal at halftime.
- In the 84th minute, Gannon secured a 2-1 win over Millersville. Tinashe Katsande (Norwich, England/Dereham Sixth Form College) would attempt a shot but the ball went in off Millersville's Mattea Adiletta. The Knights would take the lead for the win.

GAME NOTES
- Gannon is on pace to match the start of the 2012 season when the Knights came out with a 9-0 run to start the year.
- The Marauders' lone goal of the game snaps the Knights' 390 minute streak of holding their opponents scoreless.
- Alex Lee Yaw (Jamestown, N.Y./Mercyhurst Prep) recorded a match-high four shots, three of which were on goal.
- Marafioti finished with one assist and two shots on goal.
- Chad Barrick (Gahanna, Ohio/Gahanna Lincoln) and Katsande recorded two shots, while Gower James Randall (Brampton, Ontario/Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School), and Ivan Manfredi (Chiavari, Italy/Liceo Scientifico Marconi Delpino) took one.
- Hallwood made three stops in goal, while Brady Hochman made seven saves for Millersville.
- Anthony Calamia took a team-high three shots for the Marauders. Gosselin finished with a team-best two shots on goal.
- Gannon took 14 to Millersville's 12 shots. Eight of Gannon's shots were on goal, while Millersville managed four on goal.
