The Short Story: Men's soccer remains undefeated after a Saturday afternoon road match at UDC. The Golden Knights posted their third straight shutout with a 2-0 win over the Firebirds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams remained scoreless after the first half.
- Lennox Crews (Offenbach, Germany/Leibnizschule) made a break through late in the second half for the Knights scoring the game winner in the 73rd minute to give Gannon a 1-0 lead. This was Crews' first goal of the year.
- Crews scored his second goal of the season and match in the final minute of play. Crews found the back of the net at the 89:34 mark on an assist from Sergio Del Castillo (Madrid, Spain) to clinch a 2-0 shutout over the Firebirds.

GAME NOTES
- Crews finished the match with three shots. He converted both of his shots on goal to goals for the Knights.
- Castillo added four shots to go with his assist on the final goal.
- Alex Lee Yaw (Jamestown, N.Y./Mercyhurst Prep) was one of five players with multiple shots in the match. He tied Castillo's team-high four shots for Gannon.
- Ben Andrews (Saxonburg, Pa./Knoch) and Chad Barrick (Gahanna, Ohio/Gahanna Lincoln) took three and two shots, respectively. Four other Knights added one shot each.
- Chandler Hallwood (Halifax, England/Woodhouse Grove) made the start in net for Gannon playing all 90 minutes. Two-time PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week honoree made six stops in goal for the Knights.
- Vitor Gomes took a match-high seven shots, while teammate Malik Thom added five shots for the Firebirds.
- Gannon led the game with 20 shots to UDC's 19. The Firebirds held a 6-4 shots on goal advantage.
- The Knights are on pace to match last season's shutout streak. Gannon won seven straight games with five consecutive shutouts.
