The Short Story: The Lady Knights fell 3-0 to the Lakers Wednesday night. Mercyhurst scored one goal in the first half and two in the second half to give Gannon its second loss of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers scored three goals in Wednesday's match to hand the Knights their second loss of the year.
- Alyssa Otto had a productive game for Mercyhurst scoring the game winner in the 30th minute. She scored not too long after the first goal in the 47th minute to put the Lakers up 2-0. Emilie Brock tallied an assist on the goal.
- Maia Russo added another goal for the Lakers assisted by Otto helping secure a 3-0 shutout win.

- McCartney led Gannon with three shots, two of which were on goal.
- Kayla Bevacqua (Welland, Ontario/Notre Dame) had two shots on goal for the Knights, while Vanessa Coccurello (Hamilton, Ontario/St. Jean de Brebeuf) and Aesling McCullough (Moon, Pa./Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) each added one shot.
- Kennedy Solymosi (Eastlake, Ohio/Lake Catholic) made three stops in goal.
- Otto led the Lakers with three shots, Laia Santos added two.
