The Short Story: Four players scored double-figures for the Golden Knights to help lead them past Mansfield for their third PSAC win. Gannon is now 7-0 when at least three players score more than ten points each.
Chelsea Rourke (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) kept the momentum going from the other night and scored a game-high 18 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Mountaineers held advantage in the first quarter outscoring the Knights 20-16.
Haley Tewes (Waterford, Mich./Waterford Kettering) and
Tori Obenrader (Fryburg, Pa./North Clarion) used early layups to give Gannon a 6-2 edge. Mansfield used a 10-0 run to jump ahead 12-6. Jasmine Hilton scored five straight points including a three-pointer to lead the Mounties.
Emily Poling (Defiance, Ohio/Defiance) and
Faith Williams (Grafton, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) both hit three pointers down the stretch to bring Gannon within three points of Mansfield, but the Mounties matched Gannon's three point field goals and led by four at the end of the first.
Gannon scored the first seven points of the second quarter to take the lead. Obenrader hit a layup and a three pointer out of the break and Tewes closed the run with a jumper. Hilton gave the Mounties the lead breaking up Gannon's run with two jumpers on back-to-back possessions. Obenrader and Tewes continued to lead the Knights scoring four straight points to close the half and give Gannon a 27-26 lead at the break.
Mansfield didn't give up on their home court out of halftime as they took a five point lead over Gannon on three different possessions.
Sydney Mitchell (Baltimore, Md./Seton Keough) swung the momentum in Gannon's favor at the 3:08 mark on a free throw to tie the game 38-38. The Knights went on a 13-2 run after that free throw to close the third quarter with leading the Mounties 51-40.
Sam Pirosko (Eastlake, Ohio/Eastlake North) led the run with eight of the 13 points.
Tewes and
Boston McKinney (Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) continued the run making it a 15 points game with just under eight minutes left to play in the fourth. Mansfield didn't hit their first field goal until the 2:15 mark on a layup from Chelsea Cover. Pirosko scored Gannon's final points of the game on a three-point play with 1:57 on the clock. Mansfield went 4-of-6 from the foul line in the final two minutes to chip away at Gannon's lead. The Knights won 66-49.
GAME NOTES
- The Knights finished shooting 52.1 percent from the field with four players finishing in double-figures.
- Rourke led Gannon for the second straight game with 18 points. She was 6-of-10 from the field including two three-pointers. She also added four rebounds, two assists, one block, and three steals in 31 minutes of action.
- Obenrader scored 11 points on 5-of-13 from the field. She grabbed a team-high six boards, while tallying a season-high three assists. She also swiped a game-high four steals.
- Pirosko scored 11 points to record a new career-high. Her previous career-high was 10 points. She was 4-of-5 from the field with one three-pointer. She also tied her season-high four rebounds and recorded a block.
- Tewes rounded out the Gannon scoring with 10 points in 29 minutes. She was 4-of-6 from the field and finished the game with five boards and one assist.
- Gannon is now 7-0 win three players score in double-figures and 6-0 with four score double-figures.
