HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams remained scoreless at the break making for a competitive second half. Both teams had at least five shots at the break and both goalkeepers made three saves in the first half.
- Bermudez gave the Knights a 1-0 lead in the 83rd minute on a header into the bottom left of the net on a corner kick from McCartney.

GAME NOTES
- Kennedy Solymosi (Eastlake, Ohio/Lake Catholic) played a solid match in goal for the Knights falling just one save short of tying her career-high. Solymosi made six stops to record her third shutout of the season.
- This win marks the sixth straight season that Gannon has recorded a win vs. Edinboro.
- Bermudez's goal was her second of the season. She is now tied with four other Knights with two goals on the year, which is the third most on the team.
- Gannon held a one shots advantage leading Edinboro 13-12. The Knights also led 7-6 in shots on goal and 5-0 on corner kicks.
- Kayla Bevacqua (Welland, Ontario/Notre Dame) took a team-high four shots, while Bermudez finished with three to notch a career-high.
- Two players finished with four shots for the Fight Scots.
- Anna Voelker made six saves in goal for Edinboro.
- The Knights and Fighting Scots played tonight's game in honor of those who suffer from multiple myeloma cancer, which includes a former Gannon softball player, Debbie Steiner.
