Gabby Perez (Honolulu, Hawaii/Moanalua) moved to 14-6 on the season, earning a tight 8-7 decision in the first women's wrestling bout in the Hammermill Center, then capped her day with an emphatic 21-second fall over Tiffin's Stephanie Mondragon.
Caleeann Blarr (Girard, Pa./Girard) went 3-0 for the Lady Knights including an exhibition bout, picking up a technical fall over Tiffin's Jaelyn Fazio and grabbing a forfeit against Nassau. Paige Cook (Kersey, Pa./St. Mary's) and Larissa Ramos (Uvalde, Texas/Uvalde) also earned wins in wrestled bouts against Nassau, while Danielle Floor (Pago Pago, American Samoa/Leone), Stephanie Floor (Pago Pago, American Samoa/Leone) and Jezebel Garcia (Santa Clara, Calif./Adrian C. Wilcox) won by forfeits.

UP NEXT

Gannon wrapped up its inaugural regular season with Saturday's duals. The Lady Knights will head to Marietta, Georgia Feb. 8-9 for the Women's Collegiate Wrestling Association national tournament, hosted by Life University.
