  • The Short Story: The Gannon women's soccer team ended its two-game losing streak Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 win at Bloomsburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After a scoreless first half, Kayla Bevacqua (Welland, Ontario/Notre Dame) put the Lady Knights on the scoreboard in the 61st minute when she played a ball that rebounded off a Bloomsburg defender.
  • Just one minute later, Taylor Lewis (Erie, Pa./Harbor Creek) made it 2-0 when she took an outlet pass from Maddie North (Leysdown-on-Sea, England/The Westlands School) and went one-on-one with Bloomsburg's goalkeeper for her fifth goal of the season.
 
GAME NOTES
  • Bevacqua and Lewis recorded goals for the Lady Knights.
  • North tallied her third assist of the season.
