The Short Story: The Gannon women's soccer team ended its two-game losing streak Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 win at Bloomsburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED

After a scoreless first half, Kayla Bevacqua (Welland, Ontario/Notre Dame) put the Lady Knights on the scoreboard in the 61st minute when she played a ball that rebounded off a Bloomsburg defender.
Just one minute later, Taylor Lewis (Erie, Pa./Harbor Creek) made it 2-0 when she took an outlet pass from Maddie North (Leysdown-on-Sea, England/The Westlands School) and went one-on-one with Bloomsburg's goalkeeper for her fifth goal of the season.

GAME NOTES

Bevacqua and Lewis recorded goals for the Lady Knights.
North tallied her third assist of the season.
Bloomsburg held a 9-4 advantage in shots.
Gannon had a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Hannah Pufpaff (Buffalo, N.Y./Saint Mary's) made four saves in her 78 minutes of goalie action.
Kennedy Solymosi (Eastlake, Ohio/Lake Catholic) saw 12 minutes of action in her second appearance this season.
