  • Series Notes: Gannon has dropped its last two games against Bloomsburg and trails the all-time series 3-1. The Huskies will be making their first appearance at McConnell Family Stadium since a 38-14 victory on October 5, 2013. The Golden Knights' lone win in the series was a 10-7 overtime road verdict during the 2009 regular-season finale. The result knocked Bloomsburg out of the 2009 PSAC title game.

  • Saturday will be Gannon's Relay for Life Game at McConnell Family Stadium.
  • Fans can registering to form teams for Gannon's Relay for Life event on Friday, March 24th at the Gannon Recreation and Wellness Center. Registration costs $10, but fans are given the opportunity to fundraise the registration fee if they do not have the money on Saturday.
  • Each person who registers on Saturday will get a free 2016 event shirt as a thank you.
  • Fans who don't plan to participate can also receive a 2016 event shirt for a $10 donation.
  • Italian Ice will be available by the Knight statue for $2 per cup.
  • Also available for purchase will be Purple Gannon Koozies ($1), Purple Relay For Life bracelets ($2), Purple Beach Balls ($3), Temporary Tattoos ($1 for 2) and Cancer Awareness stickers ($1 for 2).
  • Fans will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for Splash Lagoon tickets. Cost for the raffle is $2 per ticket or $5 for three tickets.

  • Gannon is off to a 2-0 start for the third consecutive season. The Golden Knights were also 3-0 after the third week the last two campaigns.
  • Saturday's contest represents the first time in program history that the Golden Knights have been 2-0 and facing another 2-0 team.
  • Gannon leads the country in kickoff returns, averaging 52.7 yards on three attempts.
  • The Golden Knights top all Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) programs in scoring defense (14.5) and have allowed only three second-half points this season.
  • Bloomsburg was predicted to finish third in the PSAC Eastern Division according to the league's preseason coaches poll.
  • Head coach Brad Rzyczycki's club was predicted to finish fifth in the PSAC Western Division.
  • Last Saturday's 24-20 victory at Shippensburg must have seemed like deja vu as the Golden Knights rallied from a 19-0 halftime deficit for a 22-19 victory during their last trip to the Red Raiders' home turf on September 11, 2010.
  • Sophomore Zach Phillips (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park)' two touchdown passes against Shippensburg represented the first two of his career.
  • Redshirt sophomore Eli Quinter (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg)'s nine-yard score during the second quarter was his first career touchdown reception.
  • Junior Foster Reznor tied a career-high with nine tackles against the Red Raiders.
  • Redshirt senior Christian Carpenter (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen) (11 tackles), sophomore Geremy Paige (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) (8), senior Nathan Adams (Crozier, Va./Goochland) (7) and sophomore Anthony Howard (Temple Hills, Md./Bishop O'Connell) (Temple Hills, Md./Bishop O'Connell) (7) all had season-high marks in tackles.
  • Redshirt freshman Andrew Berger (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) recorded his first career sack during the fourth quarter.
  • Phillips' 84-yard touchdown pass to junior Will Davis (Parma, Ohio/Holy Name) during the third quarter represented the third-longest pass in program history.
  • Junior Karch Holland (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington) tied Matt Szczupakowski (2009-12) for fifth place all-time at Gannon with his 18th career field goal in the third quarter last week.
  • The Gannon defensive unit has allowed only three points during the second half of its first two games this season
  • Quad Law (Donora, Pa./Ringgold) continues to rise up Gannon's all-time receiving charts. Law ranks fifth all-time in career receptions (114), needing four to pass Abraham Ocasio (2011-14) and into fourth place. He ranks seventh all-time in receiving yards (1,342). Law can move past Wes Whiteside (2002-06) and into seventh place with 23 yards.
  • Mike Zanders II (Charlotte, N.C./Hopewell) sits seventh all-time at Gannon with 270 career tackles, needing four to move past Owen Rhodes (2000-03) and into sixth place. Zanders can jump into Gannon's all-time top five with 11 more stops.
  • Carpenter received national coverage before playing a down as a Golden Knight. The redshirt senior defensive back was named to the D2Football.com All-America second team released in August. He transferred to Gannon prior to the 2015-16 academic year and redshirted last year. Carpenter was an all-conference first-team selection as a sophomore free safety at NCAA Division I Towson State before transferring after his junior campaign.
  • Gannon has recorded three consecutive winning seasons with a 6-5 mark last year, 6-5 record in 2013 and 9-2 mark in 2014. It represents the program's longest streak since producing a program-record four consecutive winning seasons from 1992-95. Gannon has recorded 13 winning campaigns in school history, including a stretch of five in six seasons from 1990-95.
