Gannon Women's Soccer Team Ends Road Trip with Setback at West Chester

  • The Short Story: The Gannon women's soccer team fell to a regionally-ranked opponent on the road Saturday afternoon for the second consecutive day, falling to West Chester 5-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • West Chester led Gannon 2-0 after owning a 14-0 edge in shots during the first half. The Golden Rams scored during the 15th and 37th minutes.
  • The home squad poured it on with three more scores during the final 45 minutes. The insurance goals came in the 52nd, 69th and 81st minutes.

  • Gannon is ranked seventh in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Atlantic regional rankings.
