GAMEDAY MEDIA CENTER
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The two teams battled to a scoreless deadlock after a first half that saw limited offense. Only six combined shots were taken, including four by the Mountain Cats.
  • Pitt-Johnstown dented the scoreboard first exactly one minute into the second half. Sam Bahorich headed in Marisa Lizins' corner kick for the first score.
  • Gannon answered with the tying goal 13:04 later when sophomore Nicole Felice (Cleveland, Ohio/Laurel School) finished a crossing pass from freshman Taylor Lewis (Erie, Pa./Harbor Creek). Her sixth goal of the season knotted the contest at one.
  • The teams continued to play on even terms for the remainder of the second half.
  • Sharbaugh then provided the heroics for the second consecutive match, redirecting sophomore Kelsey O'Connor (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley)'s pass into the box for the game-winning goal with 1:08 remaining in regulation.

GAME NOTES
  • Pitt-Johnstown out-shot Gannon by a slim margin during both halves, equaling an 11-8 edge for the entire match.
  • Both teams took three corner kicks.
  • Pitt-Johnstown was called for one more foul by an 8-7 count.
  • Junior Danitza Indacochea (Maple, Ontario /St. Joan of Arc) made five saves between the pipes en route the victory.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
  • Saturday's contest was originally scheduled for Pitt-Johnstown's grass soccer field, but was moved to Richmond High School after concern that the field was unable to hold up for two soccer matches after this week's rain. The opening match of the doubleheader between the men's teams did play on the grass field.
  • Gannon is ranked eighth in the initial NCAA Division II Atlantic regional rankings released this week.
  • Sharbaugh entered the week without a goal during 30 career matches. She then scored the game-tying goal with 17:01 left in regulation of a 1-1 double-overtime tie against Mercyhurst Wednesday night and provided the game-winner at Pitt-Johnstown with 1:08 remaining.
  • Felice netted her team-high fourth game-tying goal of the season.
  • Indacochea made her third start of the season in goal, but first since September 9.
  • O'Connor recorded a point for the third consecutive match.
  • Indacochea tied her career-high for saves originally set at Slippery Rock on October 8, 2014.
  • Gannon clinched its sixth consecutive non-losing season. The Lady Knights have posted winning seasons five times to go along with a 9-9 record in 2014 during that time frame. It's the longest run in program history.
  • The Lady Knights remained perfect all-time against the Mountain Cats, winning all five meetings.
  • Saturday's contest represented the final road match of the regular season.

UP NEXT
  • Gannon returns home Tuesday, October 25 against California (Pa.) at McConnell Family Stadium.
  • Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
  • The Gannon-Cal all-time series is deadlocked at 12.
  • The Lady Knights posted a 1-0 shutout on the Vulcans' home field last season, moving them within one match of a perfect regular-season at the time.
