The Short Story:Â The Gannon women's seven game-winning streak came to an end, as they fell to California (Pa.) 64-58, in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division game on Wednesday evening.

Click HereHOW IT HAPPENED:- California jumped out to an 8-0 lead, before McKenna Shives hit a three-pointer at the 7:08 mark of the first quarter.
- Gannon pulled within three, 8-5, off a Morgan Neighbors jumper with 5:55 left in the first quarter.
- The Lady Knights then went on an 8-0 run to take their first lead, 13-12 with 1:32 remaining.
- Seairra Barreett would hit a lay-up with 52 seconds left in the quarter to give the Vulcans back the lead, 14-13.
- Neighbors recorded back-to-back buckets, as Gannon trailed Cal 23-19 with 5:36 left.
- Shives pulled the Lady Knights within one, 25-24, off a three-pointer with 3:10 left in the second quarter.
- Trailing 28-26, the Lady Knights took a 30-28 lead with two seconds, as Neighbors hit a three-pointer and a free throw, giving Gannon the lead going into the locker room.
- The Vulcans took a 32-30 lead, before Jennie Thies tied the game up on a lay-up, 32-32.
- Gannon took a 44-38 lead with 2:32 left in the quarter, after going on an 11-6 run.
- The Lady Knights went into the fourth quarter leading, 51-45.
- Gannon extended their lead, 53-45, as Thies laid the ball into the net on a fastbreak to open the fourth quarter.
- The Vulcans began chipping away at Gannon's lead, going on a 14-0 run to take back the laed, 61-54, which included four three-pointers from Emily Suckling.
- Neighbors hit back-to-back buckets as Gannon trailed 61-58, and the Vulcans went on for the 64-58 victory.

BEYOND THE BOX:- Morgan Neighbors recorded a team-high 18 points, while Jennie Thies recorded her eighth double-double of the season (12 points, 17 rebounds).
- While McKenna Shives chipped in with 11 points and one steal.
- Gannon shot 41.0 percent (25-61) from the field, 26.7 percent (4-15) from beyond the arc and were 57.1 percent (4-7) from the charity strip.
- The Lady Knights outscored the Vulcans in the paint, recording 32 points.
- California was led by Miki Green with a game-high 19 points, while Seairra Barrett also tallied a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds.
- The Lady Knights scored 15 points off turnovers, and had 24 points from within the paint.
- The Vulcans shot 35.8 percent (24-67) from the field, 31.6 percent (6-19) from beyond arc and were 58.8 (10-17) from the free throw line.Â
