LAST PLAY:The Lady Knights claimed their seventh consecutive victory Wednesday evening against PSAC opponent Mansfield, 63-41. Senior
Jennie Thies recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Two other Lady Knights reached double-digit figures,
McKenna Shives chipped in with 15 points and
Morgan Neighbors added 10 points. Freshman
Kelsey Herbert recorded a season and career-high nine points in the victory.
EXTRA EXTRA- Gannon returns from its first PSAC bye date Wednesday night at PSAC and NCAA Division II National Champion California (Pa.).
- The Lady Knights have idle for the week since their 63-41 home victory against Mansfield on January 6, marking their seventh straight victory.
- Gannon is ranks third among PSAC programs in points per game (73.4) and three-point field goal percentage (36.4).
- Neighbors has reached double digits in scoring during the last eight games, giving her 12 double-digit performances this season.
- Thies is ranked second among PSAC players for rebounds per game (11.9) and total rebounds (166).
- The Lady Knights rank first among PSAC programs in defensive rebounding (34.9) and is sixth for offensive rebounding (40.6)
- Gannon is listed among all NCAA Division II programs in all-time winning percentage, beginning with a 672-419 record in 41 seasons. More recently Gannon was ranked 16th among Division II programs with a .757 winning percentage (115-37) in the last five years.
- Gannon was also tabbed to finish tied for second place in the PSAC Western Division according to the league's preseason coaches' poll.
- Head coach Jim Brunelli enters his third season; he has guided the Lady Knights to a 49-12 record and two NCAA Tournament appearances in his first two years at the helm.Â
MANSFIELD HEADLINES- California (Pa.) fell, 83-81, in overtime on Saturday against PSAC Western Division opponent Seton Hill.
- The Vulcans are 2-3 in their last five games, including a 79-73 overtime victory against West Chester on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
- Senior Miki Glenn leads the PSAC in scoring, averaging 20.5 points per game, while sophomore Seairra Barrett is fourth in the conference for rebounds (11.2).Â
UP NEXT- Gannon returns home Saturday, January 16 to host Seton Hill at the Hammermill Center.

- It will be the final Saturday night home game of the season. The Lady Knights will host a Saturday afternoon doubleheader on January 23, before playing their final four regular-season games on Wednesdays.Â
