QUOTABLES BY COACH DARLING
  •  "Today was a mixed bag for us. On the plus side, we managed to get enough points to beat Lock Haven in a match that, for at least two sets, they totally dominated. They came in to our gym and were in complete control of the emotions of that match until, during the break, we figured out how to get some of our confidence back. I credit Morgan with some great serving to get us on a roll in the third set and Hannah for playing great defense the entire match."
  • "On the down side, we lost a tough one to UPJ. It didn't seem like we did very well in that match, but I think it's because they are a very solid, well-coached team. They have a great libero, two very good setters, several savvy attackers at the pins, and a bona-fide superstar in Kendall Mahoney. I'm glad we had the chance to play them early--they were clearly the better team today, and we need to see teams like that so we can start to understand what it takes to win."

UP NEXT
The Lady Knights return to the court tomorrow Saturday, September 26 as they host the second day of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover. Gannon will host Shippensburg at 10 a.m. at the Hammermill Center.
