  • Series Notes: Gannon has won consecutive games against Clarion, but still trails the all-time series 4-3. The Golden Knights had dropped four straight contests in the series until posting a 45-25 victory in 2013 and 33-7 decision last year. Both wins came on the Golden Eagles' home field. However, Clarion still leads the all-time series 4-3. Gannon's previous win came during the first meeting in 2008.

  • Gannon begins Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division play Saturday afternoon against Clarion. The Golden Knights have won their last two divisional openers after dropping their first five since joining the conference.
