The Short Story:Â The Gannon women's basketball fell to Shippensburg, 75-69, in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Crossover, Sunday afternoon at the Hammermill Center located on the campus of Gannon University.

Click HereHOW IT HAPPENED:- Gannon took a 3-2 lead, as McKenna Shives sunk a three-pointer two minutes into the first quarter.
- Shippensburg then took a 7-4 lead with a jumper from Logan Snyder with 5:14 left on the clock.
- The Lady Knights took their last lead of the game with a layup from Brianna Brennan, 10-9, with 2:53 left in the first quarter.
- The Raiders took a five point lead, 17-12, after two good free throws from Morgan Griffith to close the first quarter.
- The Lady Knights pulled within five, off a layup from Jennie Thies, with 7:02 left in the second quarter.
- Shippensburg took their biggest lead of the game, 32-20, with 4:31 remaining, as Snyder hit a layup.
- Gannon went on a 9-3 run, with a jumper from Elissa Ellerbrock with 54 seconds left in the quarter, as the Lady Knights went into the locker room trailing Shippensburg 29-35.
- Morgan Neighbors opened the third quarter, with back-to-back layups, as Gannon trailed 35-33 with 9:06 left on the clock.
- Neighbors hit another layup and tied the game at 39-39 with 5:12 left in the game, Shippensburg responded with a three-pointer from Gabriela Blackburn.
- Neighbors again came-up big for Gannon hitting the three with 4:06 left in the quarter, tying the game at 42.
- The quarter saw one more tie, 44-44, as Lanise Saunders hit two free throws with 3:26 remaining.
- Shippensburg went on an 8-1 run taking a 52-47 lead with 1:24 left in the quarter, but with a foul from the Raiders as the clock hit zero, sent Kelsey Herbert to the line. Herbet sank both, as Gannon trailed 52-50 at the end of the quarter.
- The two teams exchanged buckets early in the fourth quarter, before Shippensburg extended their 63-54 with 6:15 left in the game.
- Gannon went on an 8-0 run to pull within one 63-62 with 4:39 on the clock.
- Shippensburg went on a small run to pull ahead 68-62 with 3:40, before the final 75-69 score.

BEYOND THE BOX:- Jennie Thies recorded her third double-double of the season, with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
- Leading the Lady Knights was Morgan Neighbors who had 19 points, four rebounds, was 2-3 from the free throw line, while Brianna Brennan chipped in with another 10 points and was a perfect 2-2 from the free throw line.
- Gannon shot 41.5 percent (27-65) and was 55.6 percent (10-18) from the free throw line.
- The Lady Knights recorded 12 second chance points, while Gannon's bench produced 22 points in the game.
- Shippensburg was led by Morgan Griffith who recorded a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds.
- Lauren Gold tallied 12 points, three rebounds, and five assists.
- The Raiders were 44.0 percent (22-50) from the field and 90.6 percent (29-32) from the free throw line.Â
