Click HereHOW IT HAPPENED:- Gannon struck first with a goal in the 22nd minute. Junior Sergio Kobowane (Johannesburg, South Africa/King Edward VII) finished a cross from Ivan Viveros (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon McMillan) and kicked it into the lower left corner going off the goalies glove.
- Shippensburg almost tied the match a one with a header from Patrick Luebben but freshman goalie Jorge Hernandez came up with the save, as the Golden Knights went into the half leading 1-0.
- The Raiders tied the match in the 60th minute, as Derek Adams recorded his third goal of the season, from Joey Gallucci.
- The Golden Knights responded four minutes later as senior Chad Petterson (Westville, South Africa/Westville Boys) scored off a rebound from Kobowane a into an open goal, to take a 2-1 lead and the secured the victory for Gannon.
GAME NOTES:- Gannon outshot Shippensburg 20-8, nine of which were on goal.
