HOW IT HAPPENED

• Both teams played two intense halves, as neither team were able to net the ball, sending the match into overtime.
• Slippery Rock's Mike Pcholinksy secured the victory off a rebound from Peter Boylan in the 115th minute in double overtime.
• Sophomore Jorge Hernandez (Atvidaber,Ostergotland (Sweden)/Bildninscentrum Facetten) had four saves through regulation and two in in the second overtime.
• The Golden Knights received three yellow cards.
