HOW IT HAPPENED

• Neither team was able to muster a goal heading into the half tied at zero, Gannon outshot Roberts Wesleyan 6-1 in the first half.
• The Golden Knights continued to take shots at the Redhawks goalie, outshooting them 9-4 in the second half.
• Roberts Wesleyan Garth Brungard took a shot from the far right side and beat goalie Jorge Hernandez on the left side, giving the Redhawks the 1-0 lead in the 65th minute and eventual victory.

GAME NOTES

• Hamza Mourchid recorded a team-high five shots.
• Hernandez had 2 saves between the pipes for Gannon.
• Roberts Wesleyan was issued the only yellow card the entire match.
