MATCH ONE:- Cheyney took a 4-3 lead in the first set, before Gannon seven consecutive points taking an 11-5 lead and never looked back.
- The Lady Knights went on a 6-1 run, extending their lead 18-9 before closing out the first set, 25-11.
- Leading 4-2 in the second set, Cheyney pulled within one point 4-3, before Gannon extended their lead further 13-4.
- The Lady Knights would go on a seven point run taking a commanding 21-6 lead and easily took the second set, 25-9 over the Wolves.
- In the third set, Sara Crandall (Cattarugus, N.Y./Cattaraugus-Little Valley) recorded four service aces to give Gannon the 8-1 lead.
- The Lady Knights easily took the second set 25-5, as well as the overall match.
- Maggie Wilhelm (Euclid, Ohio/Lake Catholic) recorded eight kills, 10 digs and three blocks in the victory.
- Lisa Gropler (St. Louis, Mo/Visitation Academy) tallied a team-high 17 assists in the sweep.Â

MATCH TWO:- Gannon took a 4-1 lead in the first set, before Kutztown tied the set at 4-4.
- The Lady Knights regained the lead, going on an 8-1 run, 16-7.
- Despite a 4-1 run by the Golden Bears, Gannon closed the first set, 25-13 with a kill from Morgan Walters (Girard, Ohio/Girard).
- Kutztown took a 5-3 lead in the second set, before Gannon tallied six consecutive points taking a 9-5 lead.
- The Golden Bears tied the set at 9- 9, off an attack error from Jordyn Thiery (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley), but the Lady Knights responded with an 8-0 run, which saw Thiery record three service aces.
- Gannon went on for the 25-18 victory, as Thiery recorded back-to-back kills to close out the set.
- The third set saw three early ties, before Kutztown took a 13-9 lead over Gannon.
- The Lady Knights slowly chipped away at the Golden Bears lead pulling within one 18-19, before tying the set at 20.
- Gannon recorded the final four points of the set and went on for the final 26-24 and the overall match.
- Hannah Kren (Waukesha, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) recorded a team-high 14 kills and 17 digs in the victory.
- While Walters tallied 46 assists in the sweep.
COACH DARLING QUOTABLE:"I'm very happy with our play this weekend. Tonight's match was probably our best offensive night of the season, and Morgan did a great job getting the ball to our hitters in places where they could score. Everyone did their job tonight; it was a very nice team win."
UP NEXTThe Lady Knights return home for a two-game homestance, when they face Indiana (Pa.) on Friday, October 23 at 7 p.m. and Clarion on Saturday, October 24 at 2 p.m. at the Hammermill Center.
