  • Series Notes: Gannon defeated Edinboro for the second consecutive time last year after dropping the first seven contests in the all-time series. The Knights have rolled in the last two match-ups, out-scoring the Fighting Scots 107-21. Gannon lost the first two encounters in the series as an NCAA Division II Independent in 2001 and 2002, before dropping the first five match-ups as a PSAC member.

  • Gannon continues its local rivalry stretch Thursday night against Edinboro. The Golden Knights recaptured the Niagara Cup last Saturday with a 16-13 victory at Mercyhurst. The program has never defeated Edinboro and Mercyhurst in the same season before.
  • Head coach Brad Rzyczycki's club is 4-3 in night games under his tutelage. Gannon posted a 52-7 victory under the lights at Edinboro's Sox Harrison Stadium last year. Thursday's contest is the Golden Knights' only night game this year.
