  • Series Notes: Gannon and East Stroudsburg will meet Saturday for the first time since the 2009 season. The Golden Knights are 0-2 all-time against the Warriors, dropping a 23-10 decision on East Stroudsburg's home turf in 2008 followed by a 38-21 setback at Gannon University Field in 2009. The Warriors led 28-21 during the third quarter of the last meeting, before scoring the final two touchdowns.

  • Gannon concludes the regular season Saturday afternoon against East Stroudsburg at Gannon University Field. Game time is scheduled for 12 noon. The Warriors finished third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division. The Golden Knights finished with a share of the PSAC Western Division title.
  • Despite being one game shy of a full season due to the California (Pa.) forfeit, Gannon needs 12 points to break the program's single-season scoring record of 361 set last season in 11 games. The Golden Knights can also break the school's single-season record for total offense with 286 yards. The current mark of 4,759 was set last season. Junior Brock Jones can tie the single-season scoring mark of 102 points with one touchdown.

UP NEXT
  • Gannon will await word on a possible NCAA Division II Tournament bid. The NCAA Division II Selection Show is scheduled for Sunday, November 16 at 5 p.m. The show can be seen live on http://www.ncaa.com. Six teams from Super Region One will be invited to participate in the national tournament. Gannon was not ranked among the top 10 in this week's regional rankings.
  • If Gannon does not receive an NCAA Division II Tournament, Saturday's game against East Stroudsburg will conclude the 2014 season. The Golden Knights are tentatively scheduled to open the 2015 campaign Saturday, September 5 at Southern Connecticut State.
