Series Notes: Gannon broke a 21-21 tie midway through the second quarter with 19 unanswered points en route to a 40-21 victory last season at Gannon University Field. It represented the first-ever meeting between the two schools. The Golden Knights produced a 354-189 edge in total yards, including a 239-75 advantage on the ground. Gannon ran the ball 58 times in 74 total plays.

Gannon can clinch its second consecutive winning season with a victory against Seton Hill, marking the program's first back-to-back winning seasons since the 2009 and 2010 squads posted 6-5 records.
Senior Justin Caliste broke Gannon's career record for receptions last week at Edinboro, surpassing Sam Culberth's (2002-06) mark of 173. Caliste enters Saturday's contest with 175 catches for 1,993 yards. He needs 106 yards to break Culberth's school record (2,099) for career receiving yards.
Junior Brock Jones leads the PSAC and ranks third among all NCAA Division II players with 1,067 rushing yards. Gannon ranks fourth nationally in third-down conversion percentage, resetting the chains on third down 53.3 percent of the time.

Gannon concludes the road portion of its 2014 regular-season schedule Saturday, November 1 at California (Pa.). Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. The Vulcans are listed among others receiving votes in this week's American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) national rankings. California (Pa.) is 6-0 all-time against Gannon, including a 35-7 home victory last season.
Gannon completes the regular season with consecutive home games. The PSAC Western Division finale against Indiana (Pa.) is scheduled for Saturday, November 8 at Gannon University Field. The Golden Knights will then host either East Stroudsburg or the PSAC title game on November 15.
