HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Pitt-Johnstown struck first 14:38 into the contest, forging ahead 1-0 on Colm Spillane's first goal of the season. He finished a crossing pass into the box from Erik Etter.
  • Gannon received the tying goal thanks to a gift from Pitt-Johnstown in the 28th minute. Shortly after a Golden Knight corner kick, an own goal knotted the contest at one.
  • Martin pushed Gannon ahead 2-1 with 9:27 remaining in the first half. The true freshman finished a crossing pass from senior Robbie Bennett (Durban, South Africa/St. Benedict School) for his second goal of the season.
  • The one-goal lead stood for the remainder of the match. Pitt-Johnstown only managed two shots during the second half. Both attempts went wide.
