  • Series Notes: Gannon defeated Edinboro for the first time in eight meetings last season with a 55-14 victory at Gannon University Field. The Golden Knights lost the first two encounters in the series as an NCAA Division II Independent in 2001 and 2002, before dropping the first five match-ups as a PSAC member. Gannon joined the PSAC prior to the 2008-09 academic year.

  • Gannon looks for its first-ever victory at Sox Harrison Stadium Thursday night. The Golden Knights are 0-4 all-time on Edinboro's home turf. The squad defeated the Fighting Scots for the first time in eight tries overall last year with a convincing 55-14 victory at Gannon University Field.
  • Redshirt junior Liam Nadler broke Gannon's all-time record for career passing yards last Saturday, surpassing Gannon Hall of Famer Darmel Whitfield's (2001-04) previous record of 7,156 yards. Nadler enters Thursday's contest with 7,236 career passing yards.
  • Luke Rankie entered the season outside of Gannon's all-time top 20 in tackles, but has soared into seventh place with 249 career tackles. He needs 25 tackles to move into Gannon's all-time top five.

UP NEXT
  • Gannon returns from a nine-day lay-off Saturday, October 25 against Seton Hill at Gannon University Field. Game time is scheduled for 12 noon. The Golden Knights posted a 40-21 victory against the Griffins last year at home. It was the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The contest against Seton Hill begins a final stretch that includes three of the last four games at home.
  • Gannon hits the road for the final time in the regular season Saturday, November 1 at California (Pa.). Game time is scheduled for 1 p.m. The Vulcans are listed among others receiving votes in this week's national rankings. California (Pa.) is 6-0 all-time against Gannon.
