Gannon Football Team Concludes Three-Game Homestand Saturday Afternoon Against 19th-Ranked Edinboro

The Gannon football team renews its local rivalry with 19th-ranked Edinboro Saturday afternoon at Gannon University Field.
The Gannon football team concludes a three-game homestand Saturday, September 24 against 19th-ranked Edinboro at Gannon University Field. Game time is scheduled for 12 noon.

Gates and ticket windows will open at 11 a.m. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for non-Gannon students and senior citizens. All Gannon students are admitted free of charge by showing their school ID at the gate.

Gannon is fresh off a 47-0 victory against Millersville last week, setting a school record for largest margin of victory. The previous mark was 44 points during a 56-12 win against Ashland in 1950. The Golden Knights enter Saturday's PSAC Western Division opener with a 1-2 overall record.

Edinboro entered the national rankings for the first time this week, being tabbed 19th in the National Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 Poll. The Fighting Scots are 3-0 overall, having out-scored their opponents 120-46 during a season-opening three-game win streak.
