Kennett was Gannon's top male runner at the 2009 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Cross Country Championships hosted by Edinboro University. The true freshman led the Golden Knights with a 58th-place finish, completing the 8K course in 29 minutes and 3.1 seconds.
