Melvin Blanks ran for a season-high 173 yards on 22 carries, scoring three times on one-yard runs. He boosted his season totals to 732 yards and 10 TDs while moving into sixth place in career rushing with 2,767 yards. He also has 23 career rushing touchdowns which ranks eighth all-time. The 173-yard effort was his fourth 100-yard game of the season and 10th of his career. He had runs of 57, matching his career long, 49 and 32 yards.
