Connor Bennink turned in a pair of top 10 finishes to lead the Gannon men’s golf team over the past four days. He began the week by finishing in a tie for second place at the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational at Lake View Country Club. He shot a 73 on Friday before adding a 71 during Saturday’s second round. His 71 was the second-lowest round of the day on Saturday. Gannon edged Charleston to take first-place at the MU Invitational. At the Bud Elwell Fall Classic on Sunday and Monday, Bennink finished in a tie for sixth place, shooting a 74 during both rounds at Whispering Woods Golf Club. GU finished in third place as a team at the Bud Elwell Fall Classic.
