Valloud helped the Gannon women's soccer team post a perfect 2-0 record last week, defeating Bloomsburg (3-0) and fifth-ranked West Chester (2-1). The senior forward scored a goal during both matches, including the game-winner against West Chester. She began the weekend by scoring an insurance goal for a 3-0 lead against Bloomsburg, placing a perfect shot into the upper left corner from 25 yards out on the right side while falling down in the 85th minute. Valloud then netted the game-winner against West Chester 5:34 into the second half, scoring unassisted from almost the same exact spot on the right side. The Erie, Pa., native scored her second game-winning goal of the season and fifth of her career. The victory against West Chester was the first against a top-five opponent in program history. Valloud has scored a goal in three consecutive matches. In the process, she grabbed sole possession of 18th place all-time at Gannon with her 33rd career point and moved into a tie with Tenyka Francique (2009-10) for 12th place all-time with her 16th career goal. Gannon is off to its first 4-0 start since opening the 2012 campaign with five straight victories.
