Barto concluded the regular season with arguably his two best performances of the 2017-18 campaign. The senior kicked off the weekend by winning the 57-golfer Gannon Spring Invitational at Whispering Woods Golf Course with a sudden-death playoff victory Allegheny's Louis Olsakovsky. Both golfers finished the 18-hole course with a one-under-par-71, before Barto won his fifth career title with a par on the second playoff hole. It tied Barto's season-low score previously set at the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational. Barto concluded the weekend fourth out of 47 golfers at the Mercyhurst Spring Invitational with a two-day score of 154. He fired rounds of 78 and 76. Barto has finished among the top five during four events this year.
